(See the “Project Grant Program” tab above for application form and details)

Properly submitted grant applications are reviewed and considered quarterly by the Board of Directors. The Board may approve or reject applications and may adjust the amount of the grant. The amount of the grant is limited to no more than 50% of the total cost of the project.

Recipient Lions clubs are required to publicize the project, and submit a report to the Foundation upon completion of the project.

The purposes for which the Lions Foundation of North Dakota, Inc. is organized are exclusively to provide charitable and educational project funding within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  As a 501(c)(3) corporation, the Lions Foundation of North Dakota qualifies to receive tax deductible charitable contributions from individuals.
